Eddy privacy policy
Effective November 9, 2026.
Puzzles and local progress
Eddy generates puzzles on your device. Puzzle seeds, moves, records, hint unlocks, daily hint-use status, and preferences are stored locally. No account is required. Device backups may include this data. Reset progress in Settings to remove saved moves and scores (earned hint unlocks and daily hint-use status are kept); deleting the app removes its local data. There is no cross-device sync.
Advertising
Eddy uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to support free play. Interstitial ads may appear between completed puzzles. Players can opt into a rewarded ad to unlock all hints for one puzzle. Puzzles remain playable offline, and unavailable ads do not block play.
Google's SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from them), device identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and operation of its services. Eddy does not request Apple's tracking permission. The advertising identifier is unavailable without that permission. Other SDK data processing can still occur.
Where required, a consent message appears before ads are requested. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. Choices and regional requirements can affect which ads are served. Read Google's advertising policy and Google's privacy policy.
This website
This static website is hosted by GitHub Pages. It does not use advertising, analytics scripts, cookies, or account registration. Hosting providers may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site. The interactive puzzle runs in your browser and does not send your moves to a server.
